Day 02: Amman– Amman city tour – desert castle – Amman
Distance : 225 KM
Driving Time : 3 hr 8 min
Overnight : Amman
Your first destination today will be Amman city tour, which starts when the driver picks you up
from your hotel and takes you to the Amman citadel, also called Jebel Al Qalaa, the most wellknown and iconic locations in the city. The citadel is one of seven mounts that make up the
capital city of Amman, and it includes the Great Hercules Temple, the Ayyubid Watching Tower,
and the Great Hand Statue, among other buildings that date back to ancient times. After that,
you'll go to the ancient Roman theatre, historically used for musical performances. The theatre
can accommodate up to 6,000 people and is still in use today for the same function. Following
that, we'll go to the Archaeological Museum, which has ancient artefacts.
Later, visit Jordan's desert castles, which are beautiful examples of early Islamic art and
architecture. These historic sites, dating back to the Umayyad period (7th–8th centuries),
are located in the eastern desert of Jordan. The castles once served as luxurious retreats,
hunting lodges, and trade hubs. Notable among them are Qasr Amra, Qasr Kharana, Qasr
al-Hallabat, Qasr al-Mushatta, and Qasr al-Burqu.
Then transfer to Amman for overnight.
Day 03: Amman – Jerash – Ajloun – Amman overnight
Distance : 140 KM
Driving Time : 2 hrs 19 min

Today, you will visit Jerash: The ancient city of Jerash is one of the most popular
attractions in Jordan after Petra. It is considered one of the largest and most wellpreserved sites of Roman architecture in the world outside of Italy and its history goes
back more than 6,500 years. The city's golden age came under Roman rule, during which
time it was known as Gerasa, and the site is now generally acknowledged to be one of the
best-preserved Roman provincial towns in the world.
Then, transfer to Ajloun Castle, formally known as Qal'at Ar-Rabad. This impressive
fortress towers above the green hills of Ajloun and can be seen from miles away,
reflecting its strategic role as a military watch post that protected trade routes between the
12th and 15th centuries. The castle was first built in 1184 by one of Saladin's generals,
Izz al-Din Usama, to defend northern Jordan against Crusader threats
Day 04: Amman – Madaba – Mount Nebo – Dead Sea overnight

19th-century Greek Orthodox church that houses a remarkable relic of early Christianity. In
1884, Christian builders stumbled upon the remnants of a Byzantine church during construction.
Among the ruins, they discovered not just any mosaic, but one of extraordinary importance: the
oldest known map of Palestine. This ancient mosaic offers invaluable historical insights into the
region and has survived destruction, fire, and neglect over the centuries
Then you’ll heading to Mount Nebo: Mount Nebo is the highest point in the ancient Kingdom
of Moab, referenced in Abrahamic texts as the site of Mount Nebo this township was first
inhabited by a Christian nomadic tribe in the 4th century. Explore the roots of religion in the
