procedures and guide you to your transfer. You'll then be taken to your hotel in Amman, where

Day 02: Amman - Madaba – Mount Nebo – Amman
Distance : 90.3 KM
Driving Time : 2 hr
Overnight : Amman
First, a tour of Madaba; which is a combination of rural home life and a hot spot for religious
tourism. Known as the “City of Mosaics”, Madaba is the cultural epicentre for Byzantine and
Umayyad mosaics. Just a short distance from the capital, visitors are just a stone's throw away
from the holy monuments of religious iconography.
During your stay in Madaba you will visit St George’s Church: This rather modest 19th-century
Greek Orthodox church houses a treasure of early Christianity. Imagine the excitement in 1884
when Christian builders came across the remnants of a Byzantine church on their construction
site. Among the rubble, having survived wilful destruction, fire and neglect, the flooring they
discovered wasn’t just another mosaic but one with extraordinary significance: to this day, it
represents the oldest map of Palestine in existence and provides many historical insights into the
region
Next, you'll head to Mount Nebo, the highest point in the ancient Kingdom of Moab.
According to tradition, this is the place where Moses saw the Promised Land and where
he passed away. The site offers sweeping views of the Holy Land, and you can explore its
religious significance.
Your overnight stay will be in Amman.
Day 03: Amman – kerak – Dana – Petra
Distance : 256.7 KM
Driving Time : 4 hr 20 min
Overnight : Petra
This day will be amazing by visiting many places in southern Jordan!
Start your day heading to Kerak castle: located in southern Jordan, is a well-preserved fortress
built in the 12th century. It played a crucial role during the Crusades due to its strategic position.
Known for its impressive defensive architecture, the castle offers panoramic views of the
surrounding area and is a key historical site for understanding medieval military strategies during
the Crusads.
Afterward, you will visit Dana: located in southern Jordan, is a diverse and ecologically rich area
spanning approximately 308 square kilometres. Established in 1989, it is the largest nature
reserve in Jordan. The reserve encompasses a variety of habitats, from Mediterranean forests
and woodlands to desert and semi-desert landscapes. It is home to a wide range of flora and
fauna, including endangered species such as the Nubian ibex and the Syrian wolf. The Dana
Biosphere Reserve is also notable for its geological features, with dramatic cliffs and canyons, as
well as its cultural heritage, including ancient ruins and traditional villages. The reserve plays a
crucial role in conservation, research, and eco-tourism in Jordan.

On this day you will visit one of the Seven Wonders of the World (Petra), Take in the
captivating splendour of Jordan's most famous landmark, the rose-red City of Petra, which is
also a UNESCO World Heritage site. Walk through the magnificent Siq, a tiny canyon with
towering rocks on either side that serves as the dramatic entrance to Petra, for the first 700
metres of your journey.
Later, you’ll explore Little Petra (Beidha), a fascinating archaeological site similar to Petra but on
a smaller scale. The Cold Siq in Little Petra is slightly narrower than Petra’s Siq, but the
experience of walking through it to discover the ancient ruins is just as captivating
Afterward, you'll head to Wadi Rum, a breathtaking desert valley famous for its red sand
dunes and towering rock formations. Enjoy a Jeep safari and a traditional Bedouin dinner,
known as Zarb, under the stars.
Your overnight stay will be at a camp in Wadi Rum.
