Day 02: Amman – Petra Visit – Wadi Rum Visit – Wadi Rum Overnight

Distance : 340.5 KM

Driving Time : 5 hrs

Overnight : Wadi Rum

On this day, you will visit one of the Seven Wonders of the World—Petra. Take in the captivating splendor of Jordan's most famous landmark, the rose-red city of Petra, which is also a UNESCO World Heritage site. Begin your exploration by walking through the magnificent Siq, a narrow canyon with towering rocks on either side that serves as the dramatic entrance to Petra, for the first 700 meters.

Next, you will explore Little Petra (Beidha), a fascinating site known for its similarities to Petra. Like the ancient city of Petra, Al Beidha is constructed behind a narrow canyon that acts as a passageway. The Cold Siq at Al Beidha is slightly smaller than the Siq at Petra, and visitors will need to hike through it to reach the ruins of Little Petra. The cliffs surrounding the ruins are eroded by wind, providing an interesting sight. You'll also find many broken tablets at this site, dating back to the Neolithic period.

Later, you'll experience a night under the stars in the Wadi Rum desert. Here, you will enjoy a full desert vibe, watching the sunset during a jeep safari tour. Afterward, you’ll take part in a Bedouin party and indulge in a traditional dinner called Zarb, a slow-cooked feast prepared in an underground oven.

Enjoy a peaceful night at your camp under the stars!

Day 03: Wadi Rum – Aqaba Free Day – Aqaba Overnight

Distance : 75.8 KM

Driving Time : 1 hr 10 min

Overnight : Aqaba

After a day in the desert, it's time to unwind in Aqaba. This coastal city offers a perfect balance of modern amenities and traditional charm. The waterfront area is lined with hotels, restaurants, and shops, creating a relaxing environment to enjoy at your own pace. Spend your time relaxing on beautiful sandy beaches and swimming in the crystal-clear waters of the Red Sea. Whether you want to lounge under the sun, explore the underwater world through snorkeling, or simply enjoy the serene atmosphere, Aqaba is the perfect place to relax and rejuvenate.

Day 04: Aqaba – Wadi Al Mujib – Dead Sea Overnight

Distance : 367.2 KM

Driving Time : 5 hr 12 min

Overnight : Dead Sea

Now, let's embark on an imaginative experience! Transfer to Wadi Mujib, a breathtaking natural reserve where adventure meets scenic beauty. One of the highlights of your visit will be the Mujib Siq Trail, an exciting journey where you'll wade through water, scramble over rocks, and navigate through a dramatic canyon, all while being surrounded by striking landscapes. For the more adventurous, canyoning offers a thrilling combination of hiking, climbing, and swimming, perfect for exploring the rugged terrain.

Nature lovers will appreciate the diversity of wildlife and unique plant species that thrive in this protected area, making for a truly immersive experience in Jordan’s natural wonders.

After your adventure, you’ll continue your journey to the Dead Sea, the lowest point on Earth. Here, you will have the chance to unwind and take in the soothing atmosphere. Next, visit the Church of All Nations, located in the Garden of Gethsemane, where Jesus prayed on the night before his arrest. Continue your journey by walking the Stations of the Via Dolorosa, following the path Jesus took on his way to the cross, ultimately reaching the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, a sacred site marking the place of Jesus' crucifixion, burial, and resurrection.

Then, drive to Bethlehem, where you will visit the Church of the Nativity, the birthplace of Jesus Christ. Afterward, head to the Shepherd’s Field, where an angel appeared to the shepherds, announcing the birth of Christ.

Continue your journey to Old Jaffa, one of the world’s oldest port cities, where you can wander through the ancient ruins and stroll along the restored artists' quarter, filled with galleries, boutiques, and cafes.

Next, drive to Tel Aviv and visit the historic train station complex, where the former Ottoman station and other buildings have been transformed into shops, restaurants, and cafes. From there, walk through the charming neighborhood of Neve Tzedek, the first area settled by a Jewish community outside Jaffa.

Continue through Rothschild Boulevard, the heart of Tel Aviv, known as the 'White City' for its Bauhaus architecture. This area is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, celebrated for its unique style. Stop by the Hall of Independence, where Israeli Prime Minister David Ben Gurion declared the establishment of the state of Israel in May 1948. Finish your tour with a visit to Rabin Square, the site of the assassination of Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin in 1995.

End your day with an overnight stay at your hotel in Jerusalem, reflecting on the rich history and culture you’ve experienced throughout the day.

Essential Travel Tips and FAQs

Driver vs. Guide: Do I Need a Guide?

While your driver may not be a certified guide, they have a great understanding of the country and its traditions, and they can share some wonderful insights about the places you'll explore. For important sites like Jerash and Petra, we'll make sure to provide a local certified guide to enhance your experience. If you'd love to have a professional guide accompanying you throughout your entire adventure, we can gladly arrange that for an extra fee!"

Passport/Visa Information To Travel to Jordan

Make sure your passport is valid and has at least six months remaining before it expires beyond your trip's end date. Most visitors can easily purchase a Tourist Visa upon arrival at any airport, port, or border—except for the King Hussein/Allenby Bridge border, where you'll need to arrange your visa in advance.
Depending on your nationality, you might have to obtain your visa before your arrival, so it’s a good idea to check the latest requirements at www.visitjordan.com or get in touch with your local Jordanian Embassy.

A single-entry visa costs JD40, but with Adore Jordan visa fees are already included in all our packages for free as long as you provide your passport details ahead of time! When you land, our friendly representative will be waiting for you at the airport with a sign showing your name, ready to assist you with all the necessary formalities before you pass through immigration

Self Driving "Car Rent" or Driver

We strongly recommend discovering Jordan with one of our friendly, English-speaking drivers "or your preferred language if available". Navigating local traffic and road conditions can be challenging if you’re unfamiliar with the area, but our drivers make it a breeze!

Not only are they professional and courteous, but they’re also incredibly knowledgeable, often uncovering hidden gems and sharing fascinating insights you might miss on your own.
